In November (7-8), I’ll be a guest of GENBAND for its Perspective 2011 event in New York City. ADTRAN is hosting its annual media/analyst event in Huntsville on November 29-December 1. The first big event in 2012 for HD voice looks like it will be at CES in Las Vegas. I’ll be running [...] A number of analysts I ran into last week were coming fresh from the GENBAND (www.genband.com) Perspectives Media and Analyst Summit held in Frisco Texas. One aspect of the event was apparently laying out a case for a IPO in the near future. Most analysts I talked to felt that GENBAND had paid [...] The walking corpse of Nortel has entered into a “stalking horse” asset sale agreement with GENBAND for most of Nortel’s Carrier VoIP and Application Solutions (CVAS) business.
